The Journey

From the tender age of 5, Carsen embarked on his basketball odyssey through the Small Ball program at the Brampton Minor Basketball Association (BMBA). Three formative years spent in the house league at BMBA honed his foundational skills before the beckoning call of competitive play led him to the prestigious ranks of the NBA Collective rep team.

In the subsequent years, Carsen dedicated himself tirelessly to the craft, evolving into a reliable force on the court. His commitment and prowess garnered him recognition, earning him coveted positions on the Canadian Youth Basketball League (CYBL) All-Star team multiple times, among other esteemed leagues. While his versatility allows him to adeptly perform in various positions, it’s in the roles of small forward, shooting guard, and point guard where his brilliance truly shines.

Throughout his basketball journey, Carsen has traversed diverse landscapes, embracing the challenges and opportunities presented by a multitude of rep and prep teams. Each experience has been a lesson, exposing him to a spectrum of talent and coaching methodologies, enriching his understanding of the game.

Venturing beyond borders, Carsen has left an indelible mark on the American basketball scene, participating in renowned AAU summer sessions and prestigious shoe circuits such as Hoop Group, Marque Hoops, and Nike EYBL, to name a few. These platforms have not only showcased his skills but also underscored his ambition to compete at the highest level.

Yet, amidst his basketball pursuits, Carsen remains committed to his academic journey. With aspirations to pursue cross-border studies, he sees education as the cornerstone of his future endeavors. Anchored by a steadfast determination, his ultimate dream is to grace the courts of the NBA, where his passion and talent can truly shine on the grandest stage.
